Selous Game Reserve is certainly one of the highlights among Tanzania’s southern national parks. It got a new name recently by the Tanzanian government and is now also know as Nyerere National Park. A highly recommended activity during your trip is the boat safari on the Rufiji River. The river runs through the entire park and it is easy to spot thirsty wildlife that gathers along its shores.
This 5 Days Mikumi safari and Zanzibar from Dar es salaam it starts from Dar es salaam and ends in Dar es salaam is a unique trip as it takes you to mikumi national park for a wildlife experience and later you will head to Zanzibar for the beautiful experiences of the stone town.
Day 1 : Pick up and transfer to Mikumi national park , Afternoon game drive
Our driver will pick you at your hotel or airport around 6:00am from Dar es salaam for mikumi national park( By car). It takes 5 hours to get to the park. On arrival, you will have lunch the do a half day game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi bandas.
Day 2: Game drive and fly to Zanzibar.
After breakfast you will do another game drive with your lunch parked. At around 3:00pm your flight will be waiting to depart for Zanzibar, the flight might take a 15 minutes stop at Dar es salaam or go staright to Zanzibar. On arrival our driver will pick you from airport to Amaani bungalows in North of Zanzibar.
Day 3: Whole day experience of Zanzibar
On this day you will do Dolphin tour, spice tour combined with prison island, stone town tour combine with Prison island or stay at the hotel to relax (your choice). Dinner and overnight at Amaani bungalows.
Day 4: zanzibar experience
Stay at hotel for relaxing.
Day 5: Departure
Our driver will pick you from hotel to airport or ferry terminal.
